My Background
Experience
I have always enjoyed gaming, as a child I discovered my skills playing Tekken for money in the arcades of north London and Southend,
"A pound a round", I made good money, my Lei Wu Long skills were sublime.
Years later I saw a job in the newspaper to be a beta tester. I jumped at it and showed them my Tekken skills, they were impressed with my level of understanding of the game´s nuances and that led to a job as a beta tester.
I learned from the developers around me and fell in love with the creative processes and problem solving that goes into making a game.
I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to learn many of the skills of development pursuing the dream of building my own designs.
I worked for the publisher in multiple roles over many years.
The first game I worked on was on floppy disks, the first map I made was a custom map for the original Doom, built in notepad.

Inspiration
I have been a DJ since I was a kid and got to play at some awesome raves and parties many years ago. I have always kept a connection to it, doing mixes for myself.
I find myself when I am lost in the flow.
I lived with the convoy, helped organize and setup illegal parties and led many convoys of party goers out of London to secret locations. It was a wild and free time that in many ways inspires the lore of X-Fader.
Whilst set in a dystopian future X-Fader challenges us all to change that future into a new summer of love.
Current Works
In X-Fader I am trying to capture the feeling of DJing and blend it with a stylised driving action game.
